Let’s meet in The Imperial Shipyard – our new kayaking base in Gdansk

Most of our kayak tours in Gdansk begin and end at the same point which is located in very unique, shipyard area of Gdansk. The Imperial Shipyard is the oldest part of the Gdansk Shipyard and the cradle of Solidarity.

This area was not available for people for more than 170 years. We are happy that we can meet with you in this unique space.

Before or after kayak tour we encourage you to take a walk through Imperial Shipyard Route. Stroll around the oldest part of the Gdansk Shipyard. See the industrial heritage and discover the fascinating history of the place where the spirit of Solidarity was born. The Road Trip Project

We were delighted to meet guys from project Europe in my region organized by European Commission.
Although they had pretty tight schedule, we took the opportunity to take them around Gdansk by kayak.

Along the way, participants of this project meet locals and experience the local vibe, discover projects that change people’s lives for the better, and explore unknown places and amazing landscapes. Of these experiences they will tell on the website and on Facebook, Instagram, You Tube.

TripAdvisor has just announced it’s list of the world’s top 10 trending destinations for 2018. As the only Polish city is on high 5th position on list of ‘Destinations on the Rise’. This is not the first foreign award. Gdansk took 3rd place in the European Best Destination 2017 competition. This is a huge success because the city participated in this competition for the first time.

If you enjoy the outdoors and want a different perspective on Gdansk then this is the activity for you. We spent a relaxing morning exploring the canals, learning a bit more about the city and seeing ships up close – you don’t appreciate their size until your next to them at sea level! The team are friendly and helpful plus the base is only a few minutes walk from the Old Town. I would highly recommend this for all visitors.

Great day with the team out on true water today. We had an amazing time seeing the sights of Gdansk from a different perspective. The whole trip took over 2.30h with sights like the old town and industrial works but also not so far from the centre the countryside.

It’s super easy and you need no skills before hand and really not much chance of falling in as the kayaks they use are super steady so it’s suitable for all ages. The team also speak great English and give you a running commentary as your gliding through the water. They are super professional and safety was of the up most importance. Very impressed with these guys.
