The Wda River is one of the most interesting and most picturesque lowland rivers in Poland. Its name Wda originates from the Slavic word meaning “meandering river”. Indeed the river constantly turns and winds creating charming bends making impression that it flows in opposite directions. Finish of trip is by the beautiful huge lake Wdzydze where river Wda flows. This lake is also known as the Kashubian Sea. Holds the five linked lakes: Wdzydze, Radolne, Gołuń, Jelenie and Słupinko. The whole lake is part of the Wdzydze Landscape Park. The lake has many large islands. It is worth to stay longer in Wdzydze Kiszewskie. There is an observation tower to enjoy ‘the cross of the lakes of Wdzydze. The views are breathtaking!
