Most of our kayaking tours are suitable for beginners. You don’t need to be an athlete, but a basic level of physical fitness will help you enjoy the experience. Our pace is relaxed and adapted to the group, but you should feel comfortable paddling for a few hours.
Your safety is our top priority. We may cancel tours due to strong winds or thunderstorms. In that case, you can reschedule or receive a full refund.
Light rain is not a reason to cancel — just bring a rain jacket and we’ll paddle on!
No, we do not offer kayak rentals. Due to safety concerns and Port of Gdańsk regulations, all trips are guided.
Capsizing is rare — our double kayaks are very stable. However, if it does happen, your guide will be nearby to help you get back into your kayak quickly and safely.
We recommend bringing a spare set of clothes to change into after the tour, just in case.
If you’re joining the tour alone, you’ll most likely be assigned a single kayak, which is less forgiving and slightly more prone to tipping. Please paddle with care and listen to your guide’s instructions.
From experience, younger children often don’t paddle effectively, which can slow down the group. For this reason, we welcome children aged 12 and older on our public tours.
If you have prior kayaking experience with your younger child and are confident you can keep up with the group, please contact us. We may be able to make an exception for you.
No special footwear is required — just wear comfortable shoes, like the ones you’d wear exploring the city.
We launch from our kayak center using low jetties designed to make getting in and out of the kayaks easy and safe.
